Gary Green, MS

Stress is responsible for 90% of all deaths. Stress releases certain hormones and chemicals in the human body, which begins to develop physical symptoms without an apparent cause. These Gary Greensymptoms are common: irritability, difficulty sleeping, muscular aches, upset stomach, accelerated heart beat, tension headache, migraine headache, chronic back pain, and the list is endless. Stress is neither bad nor good. It simply is. And it is not the stress in our lives that has the power to kill us. Our ability to remain healthy in the face of stress is determined by how we respond to it. Our response to stress is self-chosen, and biofeedback training is a tool which makes us aware of positive, healthy responses to stress. Awareness is the key to change.

" Everyone defines his own reality.  Stress is not out there but is decided by us and how we view the situation. We create our own faulty stress responses.  If we can recognize that we have a part in creating our own stress symptoms through our thoughts and beliefs, then we can accept that we have a part in creating our own well-ness. "
